Variety and application of heat resistant steel and protective measures in production
As long as the alloy steel with high strength and good chemical stability can be heat-resistant steel at high temperature, oxidation resistant steel and heat-resistant steel are two typical heat-resistant steel products. Among them, oxidation-resistant steel generally requires better chemical stability, but bears lower load; while heat-resistant steel requires higher high-temperature strength and corresponding oxidation resistance.
With the development of heat-resistant steel and the progress of its processing technology, heat-resistant steel is often used in boiler, steam turbine, power machinery, industrial furnace, aviation, petrochemical and other industrial sectors, made into high-temperature parts. In addition to high temperature strength and high temperature oxidation corrosion resistance, these parts also require enough toughness, good machinability and weldability, and certain structural stability according to different applications.
In addition to anti-oxidation steel and heat-resistant steel, some new low chromium nickel anti-oxidation steel has been developed, which not only improves the working temperature of heat-resistant steel, but also expands the application range of heat-resistant steel.
As a manufacturer of heat-resistant steel, when producing these steels, it is inevitable that some pollutants will be discharged. In order to prevent these pollutants from polluting the environment, desulfurization and denitrification equipment should be equipped in the production process, and protective measures should be taken to reduce environmental pollution.
Now, coke oven flue gas desulfurization and denitrification waste heat recovery integration technology has been developed, and it is also applied in the production process of heat-resistant steel. This kind of first desulfurization and then denitration, to prevent waste heat recovery, not only helps to reduce the amount of denitration catalyst, prolong the life of catalyst, but also can realize resource utilization, which is more in line with the concept of energy conservation and environmental protection.
